Montgomery Village Baptist Center is a faith-based organization ministering to those living in the inner city housing development of Montgomery Village in South Knoxville. Activities include after school Bible studies for kids, teen boys and teen girls; adult Bible studies for women and men; Emergency food/household item distribution; Registry of recipients; Providing and maintaining clothing closet.

How You Can Help

  • Lead age-appropriate Bible Study groups
  • Organize/sort clothing room and household items
  • Greeter needed for emergency food registry - sitting at desk; greeting and taking informational data

When You Can Help

  • After School Bible Studies: 3 - 5PM Tuesdays (kids & teen boys); Wednesdays (teen girls)
  • Adult Bible Studies: 10-11:30 Wednesdays (women); 10:30-11:30 Fridays (men)
  • Food/item distribution: once a month
  • Registry of recipients: Monday 1-3:30
  • Clothing Closet: weekdays
