Weekly Activities
Sunday Bible Study
Sunday mornings students meet in co-ed groups, from 9:00am - 10:15am. During this time we open the Word and teach students how to understand and apply what God is communicating to them. To see what we are studying this year, check out the Sunday School section at the bottom of this page!
We begin each Sunday meeting in the Journey Room [Suite 300] for announcements and then break out into our graded small groups for Bible Study.
Students will meet in the following classrooms for their Bible Study Time:
Middle School:
> 6th Grade: 306 | 7th Grade: 304 | 8th Grade: 308 <
High School:
> 9th / 10th Grade: 338 | 11th Grade: The Journey Room, 300A | 12th Grade: The Journey Room, 300C <
*The first Sunday of every month we have Breakfast Sunday! Our amazing Youth Ministers bring breakfast that includes everything from casseroles to Krispy Kreme donuts!
DGroups
For 8-weeks during the Fall and Spring, our students gather in four groups: Middle School Girls, Middle School Guys, High School Girls, and High School Guys to read through and discuss Scripture. We encourage students to answer the questions: "Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How", in order to dig deeper into what God's Word is teaching them, opening up discussions that are student-led!

Mid/Week
Wednesdays during the school year Middle & High School students gather from 6:00pm - 7:30pm to eat, worship, and hang out. This Mid/Week break during their busy week is meant to refocus on God, worship Him through music and Bible study, and be surrounded by other students who are also discovering God’s plan for their lives.
Mid/Week is an atmosphere where every student is welcomed!
Our typical Mid/Week Schedule:
6:00 PM – 6:25 PM: Dinner
6:25 PM - 7:00 PM: Worship & Bible Study
7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Hang out time
Special Events
Hearts on Fire
The purpose of Hearts On Fire is to share the Gospel with middle school, high school and college age young people and fan the flame of Jesus within their hearts, challenging them to a dynamic walk and commitment in Christ. CBstudents attends this conference each fall, gathering with over 12,000 other students from all over the southeast to worship our Lord and Savior. Students will experience high energy worship, dynamic speakers, and a concert by top Christian artists in our own back yard at the Leconte Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, TN.

the WKND
Join us for our annual winter retreat known as "the WKND"! In a 42-hours period, 6th - 12th grade students will experience 4 worship sessions, 4 breakout sessions, a service project, high-energy free time and plenty of time to spend with their friends! Our theme each year challenges students to take steps toward having an authentic relationship with God and living that outside of the physical walls of the church building.

Sonburn [9th-12th Grade Camp]
Sonburn is our Student Beach Camp at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat west of Panama City. Students in 6th - 12th experience an intentional week of worship, Bible study, and fellowship with others as we work on growing our relationship with Christ and the church. Camp includes: 5 worship services, 12 breakout sessions, team games, the pool, the beach and the ocean! This week is designed to meet students where they are and help them meet Jesus and grow their personal relationship with Him.

Student Mission Trip [8th-12th Grade]
CBstudents is committed to living out our faith both at home and wherever we go. Each summer we provide a mission trip opportunity for all students who have finished 8th-12th grades. These trips can include construction, painting, and leading backyard Bible Clubs. Everything we do has the central purpose of sharing the love of Jesus with those we encounter along the way.

During the 2023 calendar year, each Sunday morning CBstudents is exploring the foundational building blocks of faith through a curriculum called "Activate"
Topics include: God's Glory, The Trinity, Salvation, God's Love, God's Judgment, Grace, God's Mission, Discipleship, The Church, God's Kingdom, and Persecution, God's Compassion, God's Faithfulness, Forgiveness, God's Presence, God's Knowledge, and God's Power
