6th – 12th Grade
Sunday Bible Study
Sunday mornings students meet in co-ed groups, from 9:00am - 10:15am, to open the Word and teach them how to understand and apply what God is communicating to us. This is accomplished by studying books of the Bible and exploring topics that are important to the spiritual growth of today's students.
We begin each Sunday meeting in the Journey Room [Suite 300] for announcements and then break out into our graded small groups for Bible Study.
Students will meet in the following classrooms for their Bible Study Time:
> 6th Grade: 306
> 7th/8th Grade: 308
> 9th Grade: 336
> 10th Grade 340
> 11th/12th Grade: The Journey Room, 300
*The first Sunday of every month we have Breakfast Sunday! Students are invited to join us for a breakfast buffet provided by our amazing Youth Ministers that includes everything from casseroles to Krispy Kreme donuts!
For 8-weeks during the Fall and Spring, our students gather in four groups: Middle School Girls, Middle School Guys, High School Girls, and High School Guys to read through and discuss Scripture. We encourage students to answer the questions: "Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How", in order to dig deeper into what God's Word is teaching them. Students are encouraged to tell their DGroup what God is teaching them through this process, which helps everyone in the group see how God uses the same words to communicate what we as individuals need to hear!
Fall 2021 DGroup Schedule: On the following Sunday evenings, students will meet from 4:30pm - 6:00pm on the 3rd Floor of Central Bearden. We begin in the Journey Room [Suite 300] and split into our small groups.
