Susannah’s House

About

Susannah's House is an intensive outpatient recovery program for mothers in recovery. They exist to serve the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of mothers and their children. Their mission is to provide a source of help and hope in a therapeutic, Christian community for women and their children to break adverse cycles and rebuild their families. They are a faith-based ministry started by Cokesbury in 2013, but now operates as an independent not-for-profit organization with the gracious support of the community at large.

How You Can Help

  • Donations: toiletry items, household items, baby items
  • Children's Closet Volunteer: organize and work the children's closet (a room which houses all the children's items they receive) while moms are there
  • Computer Lab Volunteer: helps moms fill out job applications and earn their GED
  • Mother Volunteer: a mom 20-50 who volunteers to build relationships with these mothers and support them
