Production Director

Job Description

The Production Director will coordinate the ministry and functions of all church production needs – including audio, video (including online/broadcast), lighting – live and recorded. The Production Director will also be responsible for creating, producing, and editing videos to be available via website, social media, church-wide gatherings, and worship.


Called, skilled and knowledgeable in AVL production as ministry in the church.

Ability and calling to work with and encourage a wide range of personalities in technical ministries, worship, the arts, and the church.

Good at managing time, self and others, organization, self-motivation, setting goals, tight deadlines.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, TriCaster, music, Apple and PC products, hardware, software, apps.

Knowledge of TriCaster is beneficial.


Work alongside the Associate Pastor for Worship & the Arts, and Director of Media & Communications, to coordinate and plan AVL and broadcast needs. Lead, build, encourage, develop, and schedule AVL and broadcast staff and volunteers. Central Bearden currently has staff working in the areas of audio, presentation software (Pro Presenter 7), and graphic design, as well as volunteers in broadcast media.

Responsible for theatrical & ambient lighting, and screen presentation integration, for worship and church-wide events. To include designing, setting, programming and executing, and/or leading the right people in these areas. Serve as live production director of Sunday worship – helping to create the seamless and artistic production of the teams responsible for house audio, lighting, video, as well as the partnership with the church’s online broadcast team.

Direct and develop the church’s online video presence, to include Sunday worship, midweek gatherings and large-scale ministry events.

Promote, lead and communicate the importance of the technical arts in the life of the church.

Participate in staff meetings and other related duties as requested.
